The internationally-acclaimed comedy basketball team THE HARLEM AMBASSADORS are coming to George Elliot High School Gym Lake Country April 29th 7:00 PM Lake Country Winfield Lions Club & George Elliot Senior Secondary School are hosting the Harlem Ambassadors for a community basketball event April 29th at 7:00 PM 2017 at the GESS GYM Lake Country BC. This is an event families can enjoy together… laughter, comedy, slam dunks, high-flying hoops… all for a good cause. And you can be part of it! All funds raised from this event will go toward Easter Seals Camp Winfield and the GESS Sports Basketball Program. Offering a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks and hilarious comedy routines, the Harlem Ambassadors are a team of talented male and female basketball players that are drug-free, college-educated and positive in appearance. They are committed to giving their audience quality family entertainment and serving as positive role models for kids. A team of local celebrities — men and women from our community — will play against the Harlem Ambassadors and be part of the comedy.
