On April 8, the Concordia University in Montreal will host a screening of the “JAZZ PO POLSKU Around the World” documentary. The full-length music documentary directed by Maciej Głowiński tells a story of Polish jazzmen touring in the farthest corners of the world, such as Albania, China, India, Israel, and Japan. It’s a tale about the art of improvisation, friendship and the never-ending road that accompanies our protagonists all the way. The screening starts at 8 PM at the J.A. De Sève Cinema, the film is in Polish with English subtitles. Free admission, please register at montreal.rsvp@msz.gov.pl The screening will be preceded by a meeting with JAZZ PO POLSKU founder, Jakub Krzeszowski, and guitarist Rafał Sarnecki, who are among the protagonists of the documentary.
