Fresh on the heels of the very successful Sold Out show in Ladner, BC for the “Barnside Harvest Festival” This will be the band’s first Headline show in Vancouver since 2018 – at the Imperial. Vancouver has been special for TOQUE for a lot of reasons. Toque Lead Vocalist / Guitarist, Todd Kerns called Vancouver home for years as a member of Age of Electric. Recently the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame Inducted Todd to the honorary list of members, where he’s now enshrined on Vancouver’s Granville Street right outside “The Roxy Cabaret”. Toque Guitarist Cory Churko, known for his musical successes with Shania Twain, Kelly Clarkson, was living in Vancouver as his career development grew. Vancouver Canucks fans at then GM Place would learn to love him as “The Fiddler” – where he would entertain fans regularly with Country and Pop Classics Live in front of 18,000 hockey fans. Now he spends time as a Top musician to many acts, along with technical work in the studio for Production, engineering and mixing. He’s the musical leader of TOQUE, making everything sound perfect, and melting audiences with his guitar solos. Toque has played shows in Vancouver as part of The Juno Awards Festival at the Railway Club. It was a packed night with fans and special appearances on stage with John Donnely of Queen City Kids, Paul Dean of Loverboy, and Bernie Aubin of The Headpins. In 2018 They Headlined The Imperial Club on Main Street. The Sold out Show had another guest as Jeff Neill guitarist of Streetheart played that night with the band, filling in for Toque’s amazing guitarist Cory Churko. You never know what to expect on a Toque show as stars just show up at the gigs out of thin air, and want to get up and play some rock n roll with the guys. So… ya. Watch out on NOV 22.
