The 17th annual Polish Festival in Port Coquitlam is set to unfold.

Visitors can anticipate lively festival ambiance accompanied by the vibrant tunes of Polish folk and pop music, all while the aroma of pierogies and sausage fills the air in downtown Port Coquitlam.

Hosted by the Polonez Tri-City Polish Association, an institution with a three-decade presence in Port Coquitlam, this year’s festivities promise to surpass the previous year’s success. With an expanded array of delectable Polish cuisine and beverages, attendees can indulge in pierogies, barbecued sausages, hunter’s stew, potato pancakes, ham hocks, and renowned Polish cakes & pastries throughout the day.

The entertainment lineup, running from 1 pm to 7:30 pm, boasts captivating performances such as Polish Folk Dance ensembles in colourful costumes and the melodic sounds of the White Eagle Band from Victoria, alongside numerous talented soloists. As the evening progresses, an outdoor dance party begins at 7:30 pm, extending the festivities until 9:00 pm.

Additionally, a marketplace featuring vendors offering an assortment of arts, crafts, jewelry, and more awaits exploration. Attendees can also participate in the raffle, with prizes generously provided by local vendors.

Highlighting this year’s event is the spotlight on Gniezno, Poland’s inaugural capital city. Zapraszamy – all are invited to join in a day of cultural festivities at this free event.

Proudly sponsored by Global BC.
