680 CJOB is proud to welcome back Burt Block Party running August 22nd – 25th!
Burt Block Party returns this summer bringing the festival atmosphere to downtown Winnipeg. For four nights over one weekend, Aug. 22-25, the outdoor concert series will include headliners Blue Rodeo, Arkells, Headstones, and Tom Cochrane. The events will take place directly outside the Burton Cummings Theatre welcoming up to 4,000 fans each night. New to this year, weekend passes are available for fans who want to rock out at all Burt Block Party shows.
LINEUP:
Thurs. Aug. 22 – Blue Rodeo, Skydiggers, Indian City, and guests.
Fri. Aug. 23 – Arkells, July Talk, The Blue Stones, The Haileys.
Sat. Aug. 24 – Headstones, I Mother Earth, and guests.
Sun. Aug. 25 – Tom Cochrane, Streetheart, Sass Jordan, and guests.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 19 at Ticketmaster.ca, and start at $59.50 (plus fees) for the first 1000 tickets sold or until Wed., May 1. VIP tickets are available and include a VIP laminate, access to the VIP viewing area to watch the show, exclusive bar service and washrooms, two complimentary beverages, and popcorn. Regular and VIP full-festival four-day passes are also available.
