As the pressure mounts on governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, politicians are attempting to deliver. Leaders of all levels were in Montreal on Wednesday to announce a massive new EV battery production plant slated to be built on the city’s south shore. It’s a multi-billion dollar investment with massive subsidies coming from the Quebec and federal governments. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
