Breaking barriers: First all-electric plane touches down in Montreal

Alia, an all-electric aircraft designed to carry passengers or cargo, is the first such plane to cross an international border successfully. The groundbreaking flight from Plattsburgh to Montreal covered just over 100 kilometres and lasted about 30 minutes. Global’s Felicia Parrillo got the chance to take a closer look at the aircraft earlier in the day.
