B.C. announces more funding for cancer patients’ travel expenses

B.C. is providing $20 million to expand travel supports for cancer patients living in rural and remote communities, Health Minister Adrian Dix announced at a Sept. 27, 2023 news conference. The funding will be split evenly between the Canadian Cancer Society and Hope Air.
