Temporary closure of Chez Doris day shelter could put a strain on resources for unhoused Montrealers

Starting on Saturday, there will be fewer services available to women in difficulty and experiencing homelessness in Montreal. The Chez Doris shelter is pausing some day services because of staffing shortages. The closure has those running other shelters worried they’ll see an increase in demand. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
