Members of the TransLink Mayor’s Council are warning time is running out to get the funding needed to expand public transit amid surging ridership in Metro Vancouver. Speaking at the Union of B.C. Municipalities annual convention, the mayors said the funding is critical to supporting the region’s housing goals as its population continues to grow. Richard Zussman reports.
