Over 13,000 auto workers in the US went on strike on Friday after their union leaders failed to reach an agreement on the contract talks with Detroit’s three automakers: Ford, General Motors and Stellantis. The workers walked out on all three companies simultaneously as their four-year contracts expired at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday.
