Dominic LeBlanc, minister of public safety, democratic institutions and intergovernmental affairs, said Thursday that the government chose to include countries other than China, as well as non-state actors in its inquiry into foreign interference allegations to allow Justice Marie-Josée Hogue to “follow the evidence.”
