The provincial government and Williams Lake First Nation have purchased the privately-owned grounds of the former St. Joseph’s Mission Residential School. The First Nation will assume ownership of the lands, to care for them for future generations to come, Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation Minister Murray Rankin said Tues. Sept. 5, 2023.
