A fundraiser for 13 volunteer firefighters of the Wilson’s Landing Fire Department has surpassed its goal of raising $130,000, raking in over $136,000 as of Fri. Sept. 1, 2023. Its organizer, Arne Perrin, tells Global News he hoped to raise $10,000 for each of the impacted families to help them rebuild their lives.
