Japan’s top government spokesperson said Monday that they were aware of many instances of harassment phone calls from people in China over the release of treated radioactive water from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. He said the calls were “extremely regrettable” and urged the Chinese government to call on its people to “act calmly.”
