Teachers’ unions in Quebec are worried about the thousands of unfilled positions in the province as the school year begins. Last week, Quebec’s education minister said that at last count there were over 8,500 vacant teaching positions, including 1,859 full-time and 6,699 part-time. Elizabeth Zogalis has more.
