Poilievre blames Trudeau for ‘housing hell,’ increasing mortgage rates on new homes by 250%

During a press briefing focusing on Canada’s housing crisis on Wednesday, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre claimed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s eight years in office are the reason for the current “housing hell” and why mortgage rates on new homes are 250 per cent higher than they used to be.
