Manitoba Liberal leader Dougald Lamont called for the appointment of an independent seniors’ advocate on Friday. following the dismantling of the Protection of Persons in Care office. “After the abuse, flawed investigations, and lack of action the system in Manitoba cannot be trusted,” he said.
