Saskatoon Fire Department assistant chief Yvonne Raimer on Tuesday discussed the challenges that first responders have observed while helping unhoused persons navigate the system to secure housing. “The fire department would provide valuable input into the city’s homelessness strategy and would help avoid small barriers from becoming big gaps,” Raimer added.
