As crews remained on the scene after a Friday afternoon fire on Sargent Avenue, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services platoon chief Brent Cheater said that “we’re very familiar with this particular building and we check in regularly here.” Cheater added that “We know how to attack the fires here — which is through the windows from the outside, with hoses before moving inside.”
