Tightening body checking rules in youth hockey & Edmonton ‘Bubble Boy’ turns 4

Health Matters August 3: A group of doctors is calling on Hockey Canada to further age restrict body checking to protect young players from concussion. And, an Edmonton child with the rare ‘Bubble Boy’ disease was not expected to live past his second birthday but he’s now turning four. His family is celebrating by recruiting blood and plasma donors.
