‘Give small business owners more time’: Canadian government pressured to extend CEBA repayment deadline

Many struggling Canadian business owners took out loans from the federal government under the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) program to avoid going under during the pandemic. As Touria Izri reports, the deadline for those repayments is looming, and a growing number of businesses are begging for an extension.
