As wildfires on the Greek island of Rhodes rage on, more than 19,000 people have been evacuated from either their homes or hotels as of Sunday — 3,000 of which were via boat. The evacuations are, what officials are calling, the biggest safe transport of residents and tourists Greece has carried out, with many relocating to different villages on the island, to shelters, back to mainland Greece, or even back to their respective home countries.
