Victor Play Centre director Michelle Blanchard reacted on Friday to the province’s announcement to add 12,000 new early childcare spaces across Manitoba. Blanchard said her facility is currently understaffed, just meeting the ratio of children to workers. “The challenge is not only finding but retaining qualified staff to fill the positions,” Blanchard added.
