Kelowna Fire Department says fire on Dilworth Mountain serves as reminder to FireSmart your property

A close call–that’s how the Kelowna Fire Department describes the fire that erupted on Dilworth Mountain Wednesday evening encroaching on a number of homes. Today the fire department was back on the scene trying to pinpoint the point of origin and how exactly it started. But whatever the cause–the flames serve as another important reminder to take every possible step to try and reduce the fire risk in and around your property. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
