Canada’s inflation rate cools to 2.8% in June

Canada’s inflation rate cooled to 2.8 per cent in June, in line with the Bank of Canada’s projections when it comes to fighting raging price pressures. The slowdown was largely driven by a drop in gas prices from the same time last year.
