The Canadian military is mobilizing to help B.C. fight against fires that have already burned thousands of square kilometres of forest in the province, already making this the worst fire season the province has ever seen. To aid in fire fighting efforts, emergency preparedness minister Bill Blair approved a request for federal assistance on Friday night. But still early into the wildfire season, there’s seemingly no respite from the smoke or the fires anytime soon. Megan King has the details.
