Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre offered his condolences on Friday to the family of a B.C. Wildfire Service firefighter who perished while battling wildfires near Revelstoke. “We believe the government in Ottawa, the federal government needs to have a better-coordinated approach to responding to forest fires, floods and other natural disasters. We have resources scattered across the country that need to be coordinated and deployed more quickly,” Poilievre said.
