Montrealers remember victims of one of the city’s worst maritime tragedies

Sixty-nine years ago, a boat carrying children from the Negro Community Centre in Little Burgundy capsized off ÎIle-Bizard. Twelve children lost their lives. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, as families of the victims remember, they also want people to take a lesson from what happened.
