In an update on Monday, Toronto police said that they suspected road rage as a possible cause of a shooting that left two people seriously injured in the city’s downtown core earlier in the morning. Emergency crews were called to Yonge and Bloor Streets at around 6 a.m. for reports of a shooting, finding two victims suffering from gunshot wounds — a male and a female victim both in their twenties.
