(From July 1, 2023) Thousands of Canadians are celebrating their first Canada Day today, and while many are celebrating their new lives and the freedom Canada has afforded them, they also can’t forget the people they left behind back at home. Mila Wagner came to Canada from Ukraine in 2016 and joined Sarah Reid on Global News Hour at 6 Edmonton to talk about her journey.
