Province informs social media companies of rules around sharing intimate images

The B.C. government is reaching out to companies like OnlyFans, Meta, and Google, informing them of the new rules around sharing of intimate images. The protections act was introduced in May to keep people safe from sharing non-consensual photos. B.C. attorney general Niki Sharma explains what kind of action the government would like to see from these companies.
