Criminal charges possible after B.C. police dog bites off-duty officer

More than two years after an innocent man was bitten by police dog in Surrey, the province’s police watchdog says it’s possible a criminal offence took place. The Independent Investigations Office has submitted its report for consideration of charges to the BC Prosecution Service, it said Tues. July 4, 2023.
