A panel of judges voted Friday to bar far-right former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro from running for public office until 2030 after concluding that he abused his power and cast unfounded doubts on the country’s electronic voting system. Bolsonaro responded by saying that this was a “stab in the back” and promised that “it is not the end of the right in Brazil.”
