Local charity Firefighter Aid Ukraine has been working for years to provide support to people in Ukraine and their efforts have ramped up during the Russian invasion. Now the organization is partnering with Alberta K9 to send a specialized public safety dog to the war-torn country. Kevin Royle from Firefighter Aid Ukraine and Matt and Kelsey Lapointe from Alberta K9 joined ‘Global News at Noon Edmonton’ to share why this type of assistance is so important to Ukraine right now.
