Johnston resignation: Liberals will consult opposition parties to determine next special rapporteur

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc spoke on Saturday, revealing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had tasked him with consulting “experts, legal scholars and opposition parties” on how to determine who best may be suited to be Canada’s next special rapporteur on foreign interference. This follows the resignation of David Johnston on June 9.
