During an unannounced visit to Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, on Saturday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announcing new funding for the country as it struggles with the ongoing Russian invasion. Trudeau revealed Canada will provide an additional $500M in military aid, while providing fighter pilot training for Ukraine’s armed forces, among other relief efforts.
