Some major efforts are being made to protect a fragile eco-system off the shores of the Mille Îles river in Laval. The federal government is investing $400,000 to preserve and protect dozens of at-risk species. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, it’s part of an ongoing effort to clean up the river.
