Freeland reassures Canadians economy will be OK amid Bank of Canada’s latest interest hike

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland reassured Canadians the economy will be fine on Wednesday, following the Bank of Canada’s latest announcement that it has hiked key interest rates — the highest in 22 years. She made comparisons to other G7 nations when speaking in Ottawa.
