Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry acknowledged concerns from some physicians in B.C. that prescribed hydromorphone is not meeting the needs of patients who use drugs. In a Mon. June 5 press conference, she said the province is constantly monitoring and evaluating the prescribed safer supply program and will be working new evidence into a revised set of clinical guidelines that accompany it.
