Russian Defence Ministry Spokesperson Igor Konashenko spoke in a media release Monday, claiming Russia’s military had thwarted two alleged offensives from Ukraine, killing hundreds of opposing troops between Belgorod and Donetsk. Ukraine officials, however, have denied sending any troops into Russia.
