On Wednesday, Serbia’s Defence Minister Miloš Vučević said officials and military in Belgrade, Serbia must make every effort to find a peaceful political resolution for Kosovo. Meanwhile, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said separately that he did not intend to remove the elected ethnic Albanian mayors from their positions in the Serb-populated northern part of Kosovo and the U.S. ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill urged all parties in the Balkans to restore calm.
