Frustrated parents of student on group trip to Fort Gibraltar react to hearing about emergency

Parents of a grade 5 student on the St. John’s-Ravenscourt (SJR) trip to Fort Gibraltar in Winnipeg, Niranjan and Archana Paul, attended the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday to locate their son. Archana said she “totally broke down” in reaction to hearing about the emergency from a parents’ chat group and “hopes all the children will be OK.” Niranjan and Archana said they tried to contact SJR, but have yet to hear back on the whereabouts of their son.
