The Vancouver Park Board has voted to re-activate five water fountains in the city if council approves an exception to the water bylaw. This includes decorative fountains in Laurel, Barclay and Helmcken parks — along with the Bute and Haro Street fountain and the Davie Fountain on Beach Avenue.
