Uganda’s president passes extreme anti-LGBTQ2 law, prompting continental protests, activist petition

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni signed the country’s anti-gay law this week, which includes the death penalty for what is described as “aggravated homosexuality.” The news triggered protests all across Africa in support of the LGBTQ2 communities of Uganda.
