Environment minister feels ‘great hope’ in protecting Canada’s biodiversity amid Ontario green belt development

During a press conference on Friday, Canada’s Environment and Climate Change Minister Steven Guilbeault said he has “great hope” in working together with the provinces to protect 20 per cent of the country’s oceans and land, regardless of Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s plan to develop the green belt.
