Some sports ‘more prone’ to abuse, Canadian minister says amid new reforms

Speaking to Global News from Montreal, Que., on Wednesday, Minister of Sport Pascale St-Onge said that she felt some sports that place a lot of emphasis on physical appearance “are more prone” to abuse. She also added that “…by raising the expectations for our national sports organization, it should also trickle down to their own affiliates and their own members from the provinces and the territories.”
