More than a dozen nurses gathered in Prince George on Thurs. May 25, 2023 in an effort to bring attention to a staffing crisis at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia. The nurses said it’s common for the hospital to operate over-capacity, especially when emergency rooms in surrounding communities are closed.
