Singh criticizes Saskatchewan’s Sask. First Act: ‘Ignores the rights of Indigenous people’

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh criticized the Sask Party’s Saskatchewan First Act legislation Wednesday during his address to the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) All-Chiefs Assembly. “If there is development on Indigenous land, Indigenous communities need to see the benefits, there needs to be shared prosperity,” Singh said.
