Taking questions from reporters in Winnipeg, Man., on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reiterated his support for special rapporteur David Johnston’s recommendation against a public inquiry into allegations of foreign election interference, accusing Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre of “choosing to sit behind a veil of ignorance.” He added that “I think Canadians have to ask themselves the question, is that a serious leader?”
